# Viewing Data within a Secure Access List

## As a Data Custodian

### Navigate to the Datasets Page

Use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the **Datasets** menu item.

### Select the Dataset You Want to View the Secure Access List(s) For

Select the **Dataset** you would like to view the **Secure Access List(s)** for by pressing on the specific **Dataset + Version** row to view the details. Then navigate to the **Secure Access** tab within the **Dataset**.

### View Your Secure Access List(s)

You should see a table populated with all the **Secure Access Lists** you have created for the **Dataset**. Click on a **Secure Access List** name in the table to be taken to the row-level data that is being shared as part of the **Secure Access List**.

### Reviewing the Row-Level Data with a Secure Access List

You will now see a very similar view to your **Data** tab, but the row-level data will only be the data that has been shared as part of the **Secure Access List**. From here, you similarly have the option to view image data, if it is contained in the **Dataset**, within the **Embedded OHIF Viewer**. To do so, select one of the DICOM or image links within the **Dataset**.

### Select the Dataset You Have been Granted Access To via the Secure Access List

Select the **Dataset** you have been granted access to by pressing on the specific **Dataset + Version** row to view the details. When you are granted access to a **Dataset** through a **Secure Access List**, the **Datasets** page will be a bit different than if you had imported the **Dataset** yourself. We will review the various tabs within the **Datasets** interface to demonstrate the differences.

Depending on the **Permissions Policy** specified by your **Collaborator**, you may or may not have permission to view the **Dataset Analytics**. In this case, the Project's **Permissions Policy** does not allow for this capability. ### The Dataset Data Tab for Remote Datasets That You Have Been Granted Access to via a Secure Access List

When you have been granted access to a **Dataset** via a **Secure Access List**, the **Data** tab will always show " *You do not have permission to perform this action.*" This is because the data has not been imported by you; you will need to use the **Secure Access** function to view the data.

You should have at least one list within the table on the **Secure Access** tab within the **Dataset**. Similar to if you had created the **Secure Access list**, you can select the name of the list to view row-level data, assuming the **Project's** **Permissions Policy** allows you to do so.

Once you have clicked on the name of the **Secure Access List** you should see the tabular data view. You will only see the data that you have been granted permission to, and only in a way in line with the **Project's Permissions Policy**. From here, you similarly have the option to view image data, if available, within the **Embedded OHIF Viewer**. To do so, select one of the DICOM or image links within the **Dataset**.
